About Us

Chapeau Cycling Tours delivers unforgettable small group cycling tours to iconic destinations in Europe. We provide an effortless experience with full on-road support so all that you have to do is enjoy the view, new friendships, food and culture.

Our tours are for those that enjoy an intimate setting. Tours are capped at 10 riders to ensure a high level of personal attention.

Riders need to be able to cycle 80 – 100km daily. However, you can ride as much or as little as you want. All tours are tailored to the riding ability of the group. If you have any concerns about your suitability for our tours – just ask us!

About your Tour Guides
The owners of Chapeau Cycling Tours, Jo and Alex, are well-travelled passionate cyclists. Having cycled in Europe on many occasions they are now passionate about sharing their amazing experiences with you. Join them and fulfil your own cycling dreams.

Joanne Tralaggan

Jo is not only a passionate road, mountain bike and track rider but she is a 4 x National Track Champion and holds an Australian Record in the Individual Pursuit (WMAS1). In 2013, she signed with Wiggle Honda for the Australian Criterium Series and in the Summer of 2014 and 2015 she road for the Holden Women’s Racing Team. In 2015, she was named NSW Cyclist of the Year for her age group.

Jo is a qualified Road and Track Skills Coach and a Level 1 Cycling Coach.

Alex Arancibia

Professionally trained as a Safety Advisor specialising in risk management. After 18 years of being in the corporate world, Alex decided to change career paths and continue his passion for bike mechanics.

Today Alex is the owner of Your Cycling Mechanic, a well-established bicycle servicing business in the Sutherland Shire. Alex has a vast range of experience working with racing teams as well as providing mechanical support at major cycling events like the MS Gong Ride.

Alex is himself a skilled rider holding a Silver Medal at the Masters World Track Championships and several State and National Track Medals.
